Art Outside and On the Trail
Discover the PMA Collection in the Wild!
This summer, art goes beyond the gallery walls. The Portland Museum of Art has installed nearly two dozen high-quality reproductions from our collection at four scenic locations across Maine.
From wooded trails to botanical gardens, Art on the Trail invites you to experience art in the heart of nature.
We’re proud to partner with the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry’s Bureau of Parks and Lands, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Pineland Farms, Range Pond State Park, and Evergreen Woods (Portland Trails) at Evergreen Cemetery to bring art to the places Mainers and visitors explore and hike.
